Recreational Boating near Paso Robles, CA
Water, fishing and recreation have drawn people to the Paso Robles region, even long before the first Europeans arrived. The ancestors of the local Salinan people lived frequently in the area taking advantage of fishing and the
hot springs. Since those days, the recreational opportunities for water activities around Paso Robles as well as the rest of san Luis Obispo County have continued to grow.
Along with the three remaining hot springs at Paso Robles Inn, Oaks Hot Springs, and Franklin Pond, there are at least four large lakes that accommodate recreational boating and fishing. Franklin Pond also accommodates small motorboats,
kayaks, and rowboats.
Nearby lakes include Lake Nacimiento, San Antonio Lake and Santa Margarita Lake. Lopez Lake in south Sand Luis Obispo County and the Pacific Ocean are just short scenic drives away from Mars Mega Storage. Boaters who store
